Are there price limits on which entrees or specialty drinks that you can order while using the Disney Dining Plan? Thanks!

    Hi there, Cheri!

Ma chère mademoiselle! Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for returning with another delectable Walt Disney World Resort dining question. I'm excited to hear you're planning another visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. There's no better way to satisfy your hunger for magic, Cheri! I'm happy to help you understand what's included in the Disney Dining Plan.

Disney dining plans allow Guests to pre-pay for their meals, snacks, and beverages during their Walt Disney World Resort vacations, meaning they won't have to worry about funding their food purchases once on-site! With the Disney Dining Plan, you'll enjoy the flexibility to eat and drink at many of the 200+ dining locations on property. Cheri, each Guest using the Disney Dining Plan is entitled to one Resort-refillable mug and the following, per each night of their stay:
    • One quick-service meal
    • One table-service meal
    • One snack or nonalcoholic beverage
Some experiences, like Fine/Signature Dining establishments, Character Dining experiences, dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant, dinner shows, and private in-room dining, require two table-service credits. For credits redeemed at regular table-service restaurants, Guests may order any entrée of their choosing, as well as one dessert and one nonalcoholic or single-serving alcoholic (for Guests over age 21) beverage. Whether you choose to order a salad or a steak as your entrée, a single (or double, based on the location) table-service credit would be redeemed. For adult alcoholic beverages, Guests may select a single serving of beer, cider, wine, sangria, or a mixed drink or specialty cocktail. Any additional selections outside of the plan's inclusions will result in an upcharge, Cheri. If you have specific location-based questions about plan inclusions, I recommend speaking with your server when you arrive at the restaurant!

Did you know that Guests can easily track their dining plan usage and remaining dining credits throughout their stays using the My Disney Experience mobile app? It's important to remember that unused credits do roll over from day to day, so you'd be able to enjoy two table-service dining experiences within the same day if you choose. When I utilize Disney dining plans, I usually end up with remaining snack credits at the end of my stay. I love spending those credits on goodies from the Main Street Confectionery to take home with me!

Cheri, I hope you've found this information helpful. I hope you'll revisit us at planDisney again with more great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions! It's always with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we help you plan your delicious and magical getaways.

    Bon appétit,

    Lauren
