Howdy, Anna. I'm always happy to lasso an answer for a fellow Texan, so thanks for boot-scooting over to planDisney today!
I was beyond excited when the
Disney Parks Blog announced the return of the
Disney Dining Plans! It makes things so convenient during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation to know your meals are prepaid. It sounds like your family opted for the
Disney Dining Plan, which will give everyone over the age of three one Quick-Service meal, one Table-Service meal, and one snack/nonalcoholic drink per night of your stay. Since you are staying three nights, you will each have three credits per category. Unused credits roll over from day to day, but any leftover credits will expire at midnight on the day you check out of your Disney Resort hotel.
You are correct in that it takes two Table-Service meal credits to dine at
Fairytale Dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table and
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. Since you will only have three Table-Service meal credits available to use during your trip, you won’t be able to use your Disney Dining Plan credits for both meals. You can use two credits to dine at one of these locations and will still have one credit left to use towards a meal at
another restaurant that only requires one Table-Service credit, but you will have to pay for one of your meals should you choose to dine at both of these locations. My suggestion is to use meal credits at Fairytale Dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table since it’s slightly more expensive at lunch and dinner, then pay for your meal at Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White out of pocket.
Anna, I’m sorry I did not have better news to offer, but I hope this information helps you decide how best to use your Disney Dining Plan during your magical vacation. Should you have further questions, please stop by planDisney again and let us rustle up another answer for you.
Happy trails to you,
Alyssa
