Welcome back to planDisney, David!
We are thrilled you are back with another question about one of my favorite topics: Disney Dining! Just today my family was trying to decide on dinner and my son exclaimed that he was craving a slice of pizza from
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria and a Mickey pretzel with cheese. I have certainly created the next generation of Disney foodies!
It's wonderful that the
dining plans have returned. I love planning what to eat before my trip and not having to watch a food budget while we are vacationing. It sounds like you might have the
Disney Dining Plan. With it, each Guest 3 and over receives:
-1 Quick-Service Meal (per night of stay)
-1 Table-Service Meal (per night of stay)
-1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink (per night of stay)
-1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug
It is a great idea to use your Quick-Service meals for breakfast or when you arrive at the park because as they say it's the most important meal of the day and who doesn't love Mickey Waffles!?
Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom Park offers delicious waffles and waffle sandwiches for breakfast, but you can also visit the
Main Street Bakery for a STARBUCKS® coffee and a breakfast sandwich to get the morning started. We aren't big breakfast eaters in my family, so we tend to choose a snack in the morning and save our Quick-Service meal for a heartier lunch or a light dinner, but choose what works best for your family.
As far as Table-Service meals, it's tough to choose because there are so many delicious options. I will try to pick a favorite (or two) in each park, but my suggestion is to look through the menus ahead and see what looks good to you!
In Magic Kingdom Park, I would choose either
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, for the more adventurous eaters, or
Liberty Tree Tavern for some good ol' comfort food. The Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake is amazing!
At Disney's Hollywood Studios, I recommend either
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant or the
50's Prime Time Café as both offer a fun and unique dining experience.
For Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, we adore dining with our favorite Disney pals at
Tusker House Restaurant or the delicious dishes at
Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant.Last, but certainly not least, EPCOT is the hardest to choose a favorite in as there are so many tasty Table-Service options. If I had to pick, I would choose the before-mentioned Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria and
The Garden Grill Restaurant for the fresh food and Disney friends.
Phew! That is all the space I have for recommendations this time, David, but please come back if you need any others or have any more questions about your upcoming Disney vacation.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
