Hi Sarah,
It's nice to see you stopping by planDisney with a great question about dining!
Having dined at
Liberty Tree Tavern with a group of about 10 in the past, I can say that it may be possible. When we made our
advanced dining reservations, we split our party into smaller groups with reservations about the same time. When we arrived at the restaurant, we asked a cast member if we could be seated together. While this is not guaranteed, cast members will do their best!
Looking at your arrival date, I am concerned about availability. So be sure that you make a note of your
dining reservation window on your calendar and be ready to try to make that reservation as soon as your dining reservation window opens. Given the size of your party, if you are trying to reserve dinner, I suggest trying a dinner time that is a little earlier, like 4:30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. Also be prepared to sit in different areas if the cast members are unable to seat you together, so I would go ahead and think about how you would split your group into smaller groups that could potentially sit in different areas of the restaurant.
As you continue to make dining plans, I also suggest a few other restaurants - breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera,
Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and
1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Remember that you may not be able to make a reservation for 12, so try to split your party into smaller groups for the reservations.
Sarah, keep your eye on the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. Your planned visit is occurring at my family's favorite time of year to visit. The parks and resort hotels are simply gorgeous at this time of year!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
