Hello Lezley,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for visiting us with your fun question today. You're going to absolutely love dining in regal style at Cinderella's Royal Table. Ahhh... dining inside the castle. It doesn't get much more magical than that! My young adult daughter still has a very cherished momento she received during our wonderful experience of dining with Cinderella here when she was quite young. No spoilers, so I won't say exactly what this is... but you'll love it!
When making an advance dining reservation for this popular experience, you will be required to enter a credit card as security. However, if you've got the dining plan linked to your My Disney Experience account your card will not be charged. When you arrive at the castle, just let your server know you will be using dining entitlements to pay for your meal. As a reminder, dining at this restaurant uses 2 dining credits, per person. I double-checked with my
fellow panelist Ashley, as she's had first hand experience with this same scenario. She confirmed that as long as the guests on your dining reservation have the dining plan, your credit card is not charged any pre-payment amount.
I will be sending all my pixie-dust for you to secure a royal dining date at the castle! This is one of the most popular, in-demand reservations in all of Walt Disney World, and they fill up fast. So be sure to mark your calendar for when your eligibility window opens 60 days prior to check-in, and be logged on and ready to search for that
advance dining reservation at promptly 6:00 am Eastern Time (or even a few minutes before). If you don't get your first date choice, try the other dates of your trip... you'll have an advantage as a Disney Resort guest, and you'll be able to book reservations for the duration of your stay.
Have a magical vacation, Lezley! Please visit us again at planDisney if we can help answer any additional questions.
See ya' real soon,
Tami
