Does a dessert come with a quick serves dining plan?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Alicia, and welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort visit is coming up in just a few days, so let's look at my favorite topic: dining!

It sounds like you've added the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan to your vacation package, so get ready for some delicious meals on the go. My family often opts for fast meals so we can dedicate more of our day to riding thrill attractions. You might call us adrenaline seekers! But we need food to fuel the fun, and quick service is one of our go-to options.

The dining plan offering quick-service meals includes two meals per guest for each night of your stay. And as a happy bonus, each guest is also eligible for one snack per day. I checked the details of what constitutes a quick-service meal and found that it's one entree and one beverage. Unfortunately, dessert is typically not included. But Hakuna Matata! I have some ideas for you.

One of the best things about the dining plans, Alicia, is their flexibility. For instance, milkshakes and smoothies often count as a beverage, so you can order a sweet drink with your meal to satisfy your sugar craving. Or, if you prefer, you can use your snack credit for a dessert. Personally, I like to save snacks for a sweet pick-me-up in the afternoon between meals. The choice is yours, and that's the beauty of these dining plans!

Before I sign off, I can't resist sharing my all-time favorite theme park dessert with you. If you find yourself at EPCOT, make a beeline for Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion. Mobile order a Caramel Butter Bar and tap 'I'm Here' to skip the standby line. Trust me, this buttery, melt-in-your-mouth goodness is a must-try. It's been the highlight of many of my trips, and I'm sure you'll love it too!

Alicia, I hope you enjoy exploring ways to utilize the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan on your trip. Let me know if you have any tips to share!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
