Hiya, Lindsay! Welcome to planDisney! I’m absolutely thrilled to chat with you about the
Specialty Cruises at Walt Disney World. Having experienced the Magic Kingdom Cruise with some Disney pals, I can truly say it’s a magical adventure not to be missed. The fireworks, the music, and the company of friends make it an evening to remember. I completely understand why you are eager to experience it for yourself!
These charming evening sailings are popular and tend to fill up quickly, so let's dive right in (to your answer, that is). The Walt Disney World website does suggest calling to book, so I recommend starting by
calling 0800 028 0778. Bookings open 60 days in advance, and this applies whether staying on-site or off-site. I highly recommend calling as soon as possible to confirm they can book you in as a UK Guest.
As a fellow Disney fan visiting from Blighty, I know that booking certain
Enchanting Extras can sometimes be a bit tricky from our side of the pond. If you encounter any issues, don’t worry! I suggest contacting a US-based Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Look for the 'Authorized Disney Vacation Planner' logo on their website (the one with the Mickey hat on top) and check for their EAR-Marked status (diamond, platinum, gold, silver, or bronze). These planners are experts and will be delighted to help secure the perfect cruise for you if available, with no additional charge for using their services.
If you have EPCOT tickets, another alternative to view
Luminous The Symphony of Us (which I hope you won't need) would be the
Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package or the
Spice Road Table Fireworks Dining Package. Both options offer stunning views of the World Showcase Lagoon and a delightful menu. But honestly, I’m rooting for the cruise experience!
Lindsay, I hope this helps today, and that you can book this magical Disney experience! I'd love to know how you get on, and if you have any more questions or need further help, feel free to ask me here at planDisney.
Magic sails!
Louise
