Waving hello to you, Candy!
I'm so glad you sailed by with a question, and I'd be happy to assist. While I'm not sure which
Disney Cruise Line ship you'll be sailing on this December, I already know you're in for a most magical voyage. Let's see how we can best get you to your departure port on embarkation day.
I'm happy to share that Disney Cruise Line offers assistance with booking
ground transportation as well as airfare and even hotel accommodations before and after your sailing on select itineraries. Additionally, the
Disney Cruise Line Air Program offers both flexible and restricted fare options for guests with home airports in North America, and select airports in both Latin America and the United Kingdom. The best part is that you'll receive same-day flight monitoring as well as additional assistance in the event of travel delays or cancelations. Just this weekend I boarded a flight and was seated near a passenger excitedly headed to a cruise. I could see the look of panic on his face when our flight was unfortunately canceled due to weather-related delays. It's never a fun situation to be in, so it's always great to know Disney Cruise Line will be there to help.
If you are hoping to
add air or ground transportation to an existing cruise reservation you can do so by calling (800) 951-3532. I reached out to a friendly Crew Member who let me know that guests can add air travel, subject to availability, up to three days prior to their sailing. I'd recommend calling sooner rather than later since December is always a busy travel season, and you'll want to make sure your preferred flights offer enough seating for your travel party.
I hope this answers your question, Candy. If we can help with any other planning considerations, or offer personalized recommendations for your particular itinerary please let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
