My 60 day window is coming up soon. Will I be able to make a breakfast reservation at Animal Kingdom and then a reservation for a dessert party at Magic Kingdom for the same day? I have park hopper tickets.

    Hello Carla!

Welcome back again to planDisney! It looks like you are planning for a delicious and exciting day very soon!

Yes, you can make dining reservations for both Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Magic Kingdom Park on the same day when you reach your 60-day reservation booking window! You will find reservations open for any location at the 60-day window and if you are a guest at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you can book for your entire trip up to 10 days. The only caveat is that the reservation for any dining reservation in a second Park that you need to "hop" to must be after 2 PM as that is only when you can enter. Luckily for you, the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seat & Sweets begins checking in guests about 60 minutes before the start of the nighttime spectacular which usually happens at 9 PM. Make sure to check your My Disney Experience Mobile App or the Hours & Events Calendar to confirm timing as the day approaches. I strongly suggest you try to book the dessert party first if you are working alone as that will be the event that fills up first. Just in case it is sold out make sure to keep trying as guests can cancel up to 7 days prior with no penalty. This means that up to a week prior guests may bail out and give you a chance to grab their spot for this deliciously sweet dessert show.

I hope this helps and you have a magical time!

    Happy Planning!

We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips.
