Hi, we are going to DCA this next Dec 1st and I’d like to make our baby gender reveal there. I saw a video of a couple that used the Ferris wheel and I’d love to make that happen for my wife.

    Hey there Omar,

Welcome to planDisney, thank you for your question, and congratulations on your little Mouseketeer! I love that you and your partner are planning on a gender reveal at the Happiest Place on Earth - what a great way to celebrate!

When it comes to gender reveals, they're certainly allowed, but you will ultimately want to just make sure you're following the Disneyland Resort Rules and review the Prohibited Items list to make sure you're not attempting to bring anything in to the parks that are not allowed.

From what I've seen, Guests are typically allowed to have small celebrations to mark momentous occasions - like a baby! Generally, my recommendation would be to make sure it doesn't disrupt other Guests from enjoying their visit and doesn't leave a mess, but otherwise have fun!

I also wanted to give a shout out to my planDisney pal, Danielle, for some incredibly thoughtful ideas for gender reveals when she recently answered a similar question. Check them out from some great inspiration!

Thanks again for your question, Omar! Congratulations again and enjoy your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
