Oh boy (or girl), Erika!
How exciting to see you planning your "once upon a dream" gender reveal at The Happiest Place On Earth! It's going to be a magical experience for you, your family, and everyone joining in the fun. I can almost hear Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather shouting, “
Make it pink! Make it Blue!” in anticipation!
Now, according to the
list of prohibited items at the Disneyland Resort, powder poppers are unlikely to make it through security. But,
Hakuna Matata, Erika! There are many ways to include the magic of the resort in your special moment. Here's a fun idea featuring Mickey and Minnie: pick out two dolls, one representing Mickey and the other Minnie, and make sure they're the same price (no peeking!). Ask the Cast Member helping you with your purchase to put the correct plush in a bag for you to take. Then, take that special bag to
your favorite character and let them be the ones to give you the good news. How about visiting Mickey
at his home for a more private moment?
Some other fun items to use for gender reveals include the classic Mickey balloons in pink or blue, cotton candy in the corresponding color, and complimentary celebration buttons from Guest Services!
Another idea is to visit
The Mad Hatter shop in Fantasyland! Choose the baby's first Mickey Ears and hand your secret envelope to the Cast Member who will personalize your hat. They can use pink or blue thread to embroider "It's a..." and wrap it up for you to open together or with Mickey and Minnie!

Disney PhotoPass Photographers are all over the parks and ready to capture the magic. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to pay for each photo individually, unless you purchase the Disney PhotoPass+ One Day.
I hope these ideas help you celebrate your Happily Ever After soon, Erika! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to
reach out again and I'll be able to respond more quickly. I'm always here to share
my favorite tips.
Anything your heart desires will come to you,Danielle
