We have 4 day tickets. We added a single day ticket for a last minute traveler for the last day of our park visits. How can they be part of our group for lightening lanes if they can only get theirs 3 days before their park day?

Happy New Year, Ellis! Planning a Walt Disney World Resort trip is so magical that no one wants to get left behind. 'Ohana! The more, the merrier!

I also know having people with theme park tickets for different days can make planning Lightning Lane passes a bit challenging. If you are not staying within the Disney Resorts Collection or other qualified hotels, you can purchase Lightning Lane Multi and Single passes three days before your theme park visit. Since several of you are going earlier, you will have earlier access to passes.

You have a few options to include your spontaneous, last-minute addition to your party.

First, you can buy passes for everyone together when you are all eligible. You could buy the first three days of your theme park ticket three days ahead of time and purchase passes for the last day later. This may limit your options if you are hoping for an extremely popular Multi Pass attraction, like Slinky Dog Dash. I would look at availability for that last day, just to see. If the attractions you have your heart set on are unavailable, then at least you know you didn't miss it because you waited. If early morning times are still available, you can feel confident that you will likely still have options later in the week.

You can also go ahead and purchase all the passes for the early arrivals as soon as possible and then make a separate purchase for the Guest arriving later. The ride times will most likely differ, but you can try to get them as close as possible. You can also modify the times from the earlier purchase to more closely align. With separate transactions, you will manage them separately in the My Disney Experience app. Once you have all checked into your first Multi Pass entry, you can make additional selections together.

If the goal is to spend the day together, I suggest buying passes for the first three days when you can and waiting to purchase the last day when you are all eligible. Patience can be difficult, but sometimes, being together is the most important thing.

Ellis, I hope this information helps. I also hope your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is teeming with laughter and memories for a lifetime. If we can help with any other questions, consider planDisney as part of your 'Ohana.
