Lightning Lane passes are a fantastic way to maximize your time in the parks, and I love that you're planning on utilizing them! Since you're not staying at a Disney Resort, you'll be eligible to purchase Lightning Lane passes beginning 3 days before each park visit. This means you won't be able to purchase Lightning Lane passes for all 8 park days at once. Instead, you'll need to make your purchases individually, starting 3 days before each date you'll be visiting a theme park.
The good news is that the process is quick and convenient through the
My Disney Experience app. Purchasing opens at 7:00 AM Eastern Time, so I recommend being logged in and ready a few minutes beforehand. It can also be helpful to decide in advance which attractions are your top priorities so you can move through the selection process as efficiently as possible and secure the experiences you're most excited about.
As a reminder, once you've redeemed your first Lightning Lane entry by scanning into the attraction, you'll be able to make another Lightning Lane selection right from your My Disney Experience app, subject to availability. You'll continue to have opportunities to book additional experiences throughout the day as availability allows, helping you make the most of your time in the parks.
