Unfortunately, unused days remaining on an expired multi-day ticket cannot be applied toward the purchase of a future theme park ticket. I know that probably isn't the answer you were hoping for, but let's look at a couple of options that may still work for you.
According to the
Disney eTicket Terms and Conditions, multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of first use or by the stated expiration date, whichever comes first. If you're unable to visit on consecutive days but can return within that 13-day window, you'll still be able to use your remaining admission before the ticket expires. If your schedule allows for one more Disneyland Resort visit during that time, this may be the simplest solution.
Another option to consider is
upgrading your ticket to a
Magic Key pass. As long as your ticket has not been fully used and you complete the upgrade on or before the final valid day of your ticket, you should be able to upgrade through the
Disneyland app. The amount you originally paid for your eligible theme park ticket may be applied toward the purchase of your Magic Key pass (provided Magic Key passes are currently available for purchase) and the pass will be backdated to the first day you used your original ticket. Before deciding, I'd recommend taking a look at the different Magic Key options and benefits to see whether one is a good fit for how often you plan to visit the Disneyland Resort.
