Hi! I have a 3 day single park ticket for WDW in April. Can I leave the park to have lunch at a hotel and re-enter the same park again? Thank you!

    Hi Kathryn,

Thanks for joining us with an excellent question. You are actually asking about my favorite way to visit the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks!

Yes, you should feel free to pop in and out of a theme park during your visit at your convenience. One of the most important pieces of advice that I give my friends who are visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, is to head back to a Resort hotel for a little afternoon swim or nap, or to an outside-the-park dining location for a little break. Then, once feeling rested, head on back to experience all of the beauty of Disney Parks after the sun sets.

For example, our family loves to visit Primo Piatto at Disney's Riviera Resort for lunch when visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios for the day. We stroll out of the magical gates, board the Disney Skyliner, and fly to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and on to Disney's Riviera Resort. Of course, we play a game to see who can guess the character that will grace the windows of our gondola. My girls always win!

(Tip: They have a Grilled Vegetable Skewer that is one of the best lunch options at Walt Disney World Resort, in my opinion, and their Banana Bread is unbeatable!)

The chance to sneak out for a cool-down in the middle of the day is also why I prioritize proximity to a theme park when we pick a Disney Resort hotel for our trip. Think about which method of complimentary and convenient Disney Transportation might be your favorite and use that as a tool in your decision-making toolbox.

I hope that was helpful, Kathryn! planDisney is here for you!

    Adventure is out there,
