    Hi there, I managed to get a reservation for Savi’s workshop in September but it’s for 8:25am and i don’t have early park access so will I still be able to attend the reservation? Also will my party be able access the park while I’m there?

    Welcome to planDisney, Jedi Ian! I'm so glad the Force led you to us with this great question. And congratulations for scoring a reservation at Savi's Workshop to build your own lightsaber. You must possess strong powers to do that, so let's make sure you can find the lightsabers you are looking for on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit.

    I spoke with a Force Ghost Cast Member who assured me that you will be able to enter Disney's Hollywood Studios in time for your Savi's Workshop appointment at 8:25 AM. He suggested arriving at the park entrance around 8:00 AM and looking for any Cast Member who will direct you to the early access entrance. Many guests also have breakfast reservations, so early park access is a regular occurrence. Be sure you have a valid theme park ticket and reservation for the day of your experience.

    The Cast Member also said you can bring one guest to Savi's Workshop, so one lucky member of your party will be able to share this magical event with you. Although times can vary, it typically takes about half an hour for your kyber crystals to activate and complete this experience, so the rest of your group can meet you in the park after the general opening. 

    I hope you plan to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance while you're at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Ian. This unique attraction is the best in the galaxy, and I suggest your family meet you there so you can all join the stand-by queue bright and early. Just watch out for the First Order; they are lurking everywhere!
