If I use a 4 day Florida residence ticket on a weekend and want to upgrade for pixie pass am I able to?

Hey Howdy Hey Christine and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you so much for stopping by with your question about upgrading your theme park tickets to an Annual Pass. I will be happy to give you more information on how to do this.

I am happy to report that yes, in most cases, you can upgrade your theme park tickets to an Annual Pass. You can apply the amount paid for your tickets to this Annual Pass. To do this, once on site, you can visit the ticket window before entering the park and have a Cast Member help you make this upgrade.

I would encourage you to look more into the options for the Florida Resident's Annual Passes. You will have the option for either the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, the Disney Pirate Pass and the Disney Sorcerer Pass. The Pixie Pass looks like you will only have the option to visit the parks on most weekdays with a Theme Park Reservation. The Pirates pass will allow you in on the weekends as well with a Theme Park Reservation with both subject to blockout dates. The Sorcerer Pass with potentially more availability and has fewer blockout dates but a reservation is also required. You may not be able to apply the price you paid for weekend attendance to the Pixie Pass upgrade as this is only applicable during weekdays.

As we welcome in the new 2024 year, we also say goodbye to Theme Park Reservations with date-based tickets. At this time, Theme Park Reservations will still be required for Annual Passholders in most cases. Disney is also in the process of updating the Annual Passholder Calendar with "Good to Go Days" where Annual Passholders can enter the parks without needing reservations. If you are planning on visiting the parks and have an Annual Pass, make sure you check out the calendar to see if a reservation is required.

I hope this information helped get you ready to upgrade to an Annual Pass. Please feel free to stop back with any other questions you may have, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,
