My daughters will be turning 10 the last day of our vacation. When booking dining reservations. Do I get the child price up until the day of her birthday?

    Hiya Benjamin,

Welcome to planDisney! Happy Early Birthday to your daughter! Turning double digits is something to celebrate, and I hope she has the best day ever!

Once your daughter turns 10, she will not only require an adult ticket, but she will also be considered an adult for dining purposes, including fixed-price meals and all-you-care-to-enjoy meals. This change will take effect as soon as your daughter turns 10, so until then, she will be considered a child for theme park tickets and dining purposes.

I hope this was helpful, Benjamin. Before I let you go, if your daughter is dining at an à la carte table service, she can usually still order off the kids' menu (in fact, I do sometimes, and I’m way older than 10). Just double-check with the Cast Member that it is okay for her to order something off the kids’ menu (some locations have different policies and may charge you more for them to order from the kids' menu). Not every 10-year-old has an adult-sized appetite, so it doesn’t hurt to double-check. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,
