I have been able to take a rideshare to visit resorts in the past. I actually just did this past month! With that being said, depending on how busy the resort is, there are times when security will require you to show a
dining or
Enchanting Extras reservation if you’re not staying at the resort.
To be on the safe side, I’d recommend taking the bus from
Port Orleans Riverside to Hollywood Studios, then hopping on the Skyliner to
Caribbean Beach. While that route will take a bit longer, you’ll have no problems resort-hopping that way. And if your family is anything like mine, we love an excuse to take a Skyliner ride! Then, you’d have no trouble taking a rideshare back to Port Orleans Riverside, since you’ll be a resort guest there.
With that being said, a restaurant that I have on my radar for my next trip is
Sebastian’s Bistro. I’ve heard incredible things about that restaurant, and it’s one you can make an Advanced Dining Reservation for (pending availability). If you end up deciding to go that route, then you’d have no problems arriving at the resort via rideshare because you’d be able to show security your dining reservation.
