Howdy Teresa!
Welcome back to planDisney. My wife just ran the Springtime Surprise race a few months ago. She had the most amazing time dressing up, running, and enjoying all of the neat experiences during race weekend. So let's lace up our running shoes and get to it.
Alrighty, so I ran over to the
runDisney website, and according to their
Registration FAQ, everyone in your group can log in to the website using their own My Disney Experience account to secure a race registration. Once one of them gets in, they can sign her up to run. They will need her personal information in order to do so, which can be found on the website. Once that is complete, they can transfer her registration to her account for management. I would caution against logging into multiple devices with the same My Disney Experience account. I recently registered for the D23 Expo, and before the virtual queue opened, it specifically said not to log in on multiple devices under the same account.
In my experience, registration typically opens at 10:00 am EST. I would keep an eye on the runDisney website for the latest information, and make sure you have signed up for email alerts. On registration day, June 2, 2026, be sure to log in early and have all of your race info, such as address, shirt size, race choices, and payment information, ready to go. This will help you secure the races you want before they sell out.
We’re almost to our finish line, and I wanted to leave you with one last tip. I would recommend that she get Memory Maker. Memory Maker lets you get all the amazing
Photo Pass pictures taken during the race, especially with all the characters. There is no better way to capture all of these memories for a lifetime.
Teresa, I hope that your daughter has a magical time running through the Walt Disney World Parks. Dash back by anytime you have a question, and I and fellow panelists will be happy to help.
See ya real soon,
Robert
