Hiya, pal! Welcome to planDisney y ¡feliz cumpleaños! Celebrating your special day at Walt Disney World Resort is going to be so amazing, especially if you're wearing an incredible dress! I have personally witnessed people in their quinceañera dress in the parks and I've also seen stunning photo galleries posted online by families who opted to book a
Capture Your Moment photo shoot to commemorate this milestone occasion. There are a few things I want you to be aware of so that Cast Members can say "yes!" to the dress when you go to enter the theme parks in your gorgeous gown.
I encourage you to take a look at the
Park Dress Guidelines, as there are some important stipulations here that you'll want to review so you can ensure the selected garment is in compliance. The dress cannot touch or drag on the ground nor expose excessive portions of skin, and you'll want to make sure that its design could not be perceived as a costume. Costumes are prohibited for guests over the age of 14 outside of special seasonal events, like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
The dress will be subject to search if it is built with multiple layers, and Cast Members will ultimately make the call as to whether or not the dress and its wearer will be permitted to enter the parks.
Here's a tip before I go: if you do choose to book a Capture Your Moment photo session, you might want to book back-to-back 20 minute sessions and couple them with a purchase of
Memory Maker. This way you can get all of your photos from the sessions at no extra cost.
PhotoPass photographers are stationed around the parks and take amazing pictures which are sure to become your family's treasured memories.
