Will the Morroco Dock for the Friendship boats be open in January of 2027?

Howdy Edward, and welcome to planDisney! EPCOT's World Showcase is a fabulous place to learn about different countries of the world via cultural representatives, exhibits, and food. This combination of snacking and education is what I like to refer to as "snackucation" since I'm eating and gathering some knowledge at the same time. It's like edutainment, but more filling and it happens at Walt Disney World! It seems like you're planning your own "snackucation" tour around World Showcase, and I'd be happy to help you navigate the FriendShip Boat service in the lagoon.

The FriendShip Boat route usually connects Canada and Morocco, but a route between Canada and Germany has run in the past when the Morocco dock was undergoing refurbishment. The water transportation page has more details about how to use this service and would likely include any information about upcoming refurbishments. At this time, I don't see anything that indicates that the Morocco dock will not be operating at the time of your visit, but this is subject to change. A lot can happen between now and January, so it will be best to check just prior to your trip or speak with a Cast Member at EPCOT on the day of your visit to learn how to best get around World Showcase that day.

These boats start sailing one hour into the operating hours for EPCOT on a given day and arrive in regular intervals, typically every 15 minutes or so. You may enjoy this service up to an hour before the park closes for the day, then this friendly ferry service will end and you'll need to walk, scoot, or (if you're like my kids) be carried across the rest of World Showcase.

I hope this helps you plan your EPCOT travels for January, Edward! You can make your journey between Canada, Morocco, or Germany even more enjoyable by picking up some maple popcorn, a tasty baklava, or an enormous pretzel before exploring the ins and outs of each pavilion. We are getting a "snackucation," after all! I am wishing you an enlightening and informative visit to Disney World.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
