in this answer, your daughter probably won't run into any specific restrictions regarding attractions she can or can't experience. There's no blanket statement regarding slings or casts on rides, so the decision is up to the guest based on guidance from their physician. But you can find
descriptions and health suggestions for each ride to help plan your strategy.
In addition to posted signs near ride entrances, you can find general information by clicking "Show Safety, Accessibility, and Guest Policies" for any attraction, either online or in your
My Disney Experience mobile app.
For example, the points listed for
TRON Lightcycle / Run describe the experience as a high-speed roller coaster with sharp turns, sudden drops, and stops. The details also caution that seating and restraints could be an issue for some guests. I've ridden TRON several times and find the motorcycle-style seating unique and fun, but I fear it might put pressure on a tender shoulder.
You can check out guidelines for other thrill attractions, but my best tip is to focus on rides with no height restrictions, like
Pirates of the Caribbean,
Haunted Mansion, and
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. I'd also recommend speaking with a Cast Member at each attraction for their advice. They can let you know the type of restraints the ride has and will probably advise against anything with an over-the-shoulder harness for your daughter.
As always, check with her physician for their recommendations and advice. This trip might look a little different if she's a thrill-seeker, but I promise you can have a magical time without riding big coasters.
