Hi Shannon!
Welcome back to planDisney! I couldn’t help but notice that the first question you asked us dates all the way back to 2008! Thanks for making us a go-to resource as you plan your Disney vacations.
Unfortunately, there is no way to join another group’s
VIP tour at this time. However, in my opinion, the next best option would be to purchase
Lightning Lane Premier Pass (pending availability). While the Premier Pass doesn't include everything a VIP tour would, it’s much more cost-effective in this case and still gives you a very laid-back, enjoyable day.
I purchased Lightning Lane Premier Pass for a recent trip to
Hollywood Studios, and I was actually exploring the park right alongside one of the VIP tours that day. It was like we were on the same schedule!
Of course, with Premier Pass, you can only use it at one park, and it only includes accessing the Lightning Lane for each available attraction once that day. So, it doesn’t come with all the perks of a VIP tour, but I still felt like it was such a special addition to my trip.
If you’re looking for a more “behind-the-scenes” feel and your daughter is at least 16 years old, something else that I highly recommend is the
Keys to the Kingdom tour. This was one of my favorite things I’ve ever done at Disney World! Not only do you learn a ton, but you also get to check out the underground “Utilidor” tunnels.
I hope you and your daughter have the best time together! If you have any other questions, let us know. We’re always happy to help!
