Hi Caroline, and a warm welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you may all be counting down the days til you're next enjoying making memories in the Most Magical Place on Earth! Let's see if we can get to the bottom of your daughter's ticket situation.
Tickets for Walt Disney World are typically non-refundable or
transferable once they have been activated. If the Ticket has not been partially used, however, upgrading your daughter's theme park ticket to the appropriate ticket type (ages 10+) is straightforward. You'll simply need to pay the difference between the two. I recommend calling the ever-helpful Cast Members at the
Disney Park Tickets to discuss what sounds like a unique situation, as tickets purchased in the U.K. usually expire within a set period once activated. Calling before your trip means you will be crystal clear on her ticket validity.
It sounds like your trip is planned over our British half-term break. Now, I love visiting Walt Disney World any time of the year, but the added bonus of Halloween theming and
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival means you're set for even more magic on your adventure.
I hope this information helps, Caroline. We're always here at planDisney if there's anything else you need. Best wishes to you and your daughter for an epic Walt Disney World experience!
Louise
