Hey there, hi there, George!
Welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by with your question for us.
I do hope this means you plan on visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth again because sometimes, a dose of magic is exactly what one needs! I’ve been known to make a quick one-night trip to Walt Disney World Resort just to recharge. A stroll around the World Showcase at
EPCOT with a Mickey-shaped snack (or a few) always helps me feel more productive and creative, not to mention the planning aspect makes me feel all giddy!
George, a great thing about Walt Disney World Resort
theme park tickets is that wholly unused tickets always retain value! Although tickets are nonrefundable, if you have never used them, you could use their value towards paying for a new one! Please keep in mind that if this is the case and the value of the new ticket has increased, you will need to pay the difference. You can find the
ticket expiration guidelines here.
Now, let’s figure out how to find out if you have any current or expired unused tickets! A theme park ticket that has not expired will appear in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. To check, simply open the app, select the three horizontal lines (≡) in the bottom right corner, and then choose the
Tickets and Passes option. Here, you can scroll through to see if you have any current unexpired theme park tickets.
For expired and wholly unused tickets, you would either need to visit a ticket window at the entrance of any of the theme parks or call a friendly Cast Member at
Existing Tickets so they can help you further. Expired tickets may not appear in your My Disney Experience account, and the Cast Member may need further investigation to help you!
Wishing you an enchanting visit, George!
