Dates for MNSSHP late October, 5 adults with 7, 4 & 2 year olds. Debating Sun 10/25 or Tue 10/27(last night of our trip) Concerned about FL residents on Sun but also concerned about scaring kids on the last night with no park day to recover.

Ghostly greetings to you, Suzanne, and welcome to planDisney! I've been dying to answer more questions about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party, and I see you're making final arrangements to join in on the fun this October. I'm happy to help you choose a date and discuss what the experience will be like for you and the little ghouls and goblins you're traveling with.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the most popular events at Walt Disney World, and is a signature experience in the fall lineup of activities. All party dates sold out in 2025, and I anticipate the same will happen in 2026. Since you will likely be choosing between two sold out dates, I would choose the date that fits better with the other plans you are making for your vacation. Also, I wouldn't be too concerned with crowds, since the party crowd will be lower than the typical day-guest crowd at Magic Kingdom. That's one of the boo-tiful benefits of attending a special event like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

I'd also like to add that the scares at the party are more fun than frightening. While there are some attractions that can be intense for younger guests, like Space Mountain in complete darkness, much of the entertainment and activities are truly "not-so-scary." Little ones can enjoy trick-or-treating, dance parties, and character meet-and-greets, so there is wholesome Halloween fun for the entire family. Be sure to grab a spooky specialty snack or two to share, then find a spot in Frontierland or on Main Street, U.S.A. to watch Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. Also, one of the greatest perks is that all guests are welcome to wear Halloween costumes, just make sure to review the attire guidelines.

You and your family are going to have a wickedly wonderful experience at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Suzanne! If you need more tips or advice for your upcoming visit, carve out some time and visit us again here at planDisney!

    Stay magical,
