    I have date-based tickets and I see that as of right now there is full availability to the parks but will that change before I get there?

    Hi Megan,

    Welcome to planDisney! It looks like your Disney World vacation is nearly here, you must be getting excited! With your tickets ready to go, let’s go over what you need to know about theme park reservations.

    If you have date-based tickets (with a specific start date), you’re in luck - there’s no need to choose your park in advance or worry about making theme park reservations. You can simply head straight to the magic on your park days!

    Currently, only a few types of tickets still require a theme park reservation, including:
    • Student group tickets
    • Sport and Convention tickets
    • Disney Military Salute Tickets
    • Annual Pass
    • Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket

    While you're visiting Disney World, be sure to take some time to explore EPCOT's International Flower & Garden Festival, there is much to enjoy! My favourite parts are looking at the incredible topiaries of beloved Disney Characters, listening to the artists perform at the Garden Rocks Concert Series or tasting delicious dishes from the outdoor kitchens.  It’s such a great way to celebrate spring!
