Hi Julie,
I hope you all are looking forward to your upcoming vacation to Disney World! My family has used
Disability Access Service (DAS) on many of our trips, and it is super helpful when traveling with family members who struggle to wait in line because of a disability. Once you have gone through the process of DAS, you can use it whenever you are in the theme parks. This will include any events that you attend while on your vacation. If you have any concerns or have issues working DAS, I highly recommend stopping by
Guest Services. They are a wealth of information and assistance.
Disney After Hours at EPCOT is a fun event, and I am sure you will love everything about it. The best part about these events is that attendance is limited, and the wait times are greatly decreased, so using your DAS becomes much less necessary. You can also enter the theme park at 7 PM, 3 hours before the theme park closes for the event. It is a great time to go ahead and ride
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind so that you can save the rest of the evening for other rides or for taking a spin through the galaxy more than once.
Another fabulous part of this event is the complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the theme park. I love making stops for ice cream bars, popcorn, and drinks as many times as possible to keep my energy up for the party festivities. Disney After Hours at EPCOT is my favorite because that theme park is beautifully lit up at night especially around the new
Dreamer's Point area where you can often experience live music!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
