Port Orleans Resort French Quarter Pool

    Hi we’re currently planning our return trip to WDW for next year after recently returning from AKL, a resort we’re looking at is Port Orleans French Quarter however this would depend on the rooms being refurbed, will all FQ rooms be refurbed before 2025?

    I'm so glad to see that you are planning for your grand return to Walt Disney World Resort! That must mean that you and your family had a fabulous time. We love to hear it! 

    Isn't it great that Walt Disney World Resort offers so many different Resort hotel experiences? I mean, maybe you could catch a glimpse of an ostrich with your morning Joffrey's Coffee on your last vacation. On the next, perhaps you will be whisked away to the bayou. Both are within a few miles of one another and offer that impeccable Disney service. It never gets old! 

    I just double-checked, Jason, and the latest information that I can find anticipates that the Resort hotel room refurbishment underway at Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter is expected to be completed in November of 2024. Of course, we all know that completion dates are subject to change, but I feel like this could be an excellent option for your 2025 visit. 

    Would you like to know what I think might be the very best part of a stay in the Resort hotel theme for Princess Tiana's hometown? We love the convenience and tranquility of boat transportation to Disney Springs. A peaceful cruise down the Sassagoula River to the excitement of this shopping and entertainment district feels like the perfect way to ease into a big night out. The return cruise helps start the wind-down from a big day full of adventure. You simply have to try it.
