Greetings, Mark, and welcome to planDisney! I hope you had a magical journey across the pond. I think a day at
Disney's Hollywood Studios is the perfect addition to your holiday, so let's talk about how you can "drop in" on attractions like
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Next stop: The 5th Dimension!
Now that you're stateside, you should be able to purchase single-day, single-park tickets on your
My Disney Experience mobile app. You can get started by tapping the plus sign at the bottom of your screen and selecting "Buy Tickets and Passes." You'll see a list of current admission types, including some special offers, but you'll probably choose standard "Theme Park Tickets" to get started.
You'll tap one day, select the date, and then see prices for each park listed under the 1 Park Per Day section. Choose Disney's Hollywood Studios and the number of tickets to see your subtotal. You'll be plunging down that haunted elevator before you know it!
If you'd prefer to purchase tickets in person, you shouldn't have any problem buying tickets at the theme park entrance. A quick check of the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar shows all four parks are currently open for ticket sales, so purchasing on the day of is another option.
A final way to secure admission is to call the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line for assistance. Those Cast Members can wave their wands and set you up with tickets in a flash. You're going to have a fantastic time!
If you're a Star Wars fan, my tip is to head to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge when you arrive at the park. The
Cold Brew Black Caf at Kat Saka's Kettle is a sweet and foamy treat to jump-start your day, and you can hop in the queue for
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run for a chance to fly in that iconic ship. May the Force be with ya'll!
Mark, I hope you make many memories to treasure while you're at Walt Disney World Resort. Snag those tickets and have a blast at the always glamorous Hollywood Studios. We're always happy to help here at
planDisney!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
