i am currently in the military and will like to take my family to Disney world in September where can i buy military discount park hopper tickets with a dinning plan so we can eat at the park when we are there

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Domenick! I will be proud to help get you pointed in the right direction for planning this magical vacation for you and the family.

First things first, I would like to thank you for protecting our great nation and your families sacrifice. When visiting the Walt Disney World Resort as a military family there are a couple of different options for booking for a stay, food, and tickets. The first option is Shades of Green this option is a staple for military families for years. There is always someone ready to help and there are also options for discounts like the current "Soak Up the Sun" offer that goes through September of 2025. There are also discounts for military members for Disney Resorts Collection hotels as well. When it comes to tickets the Disney Military Salute Ticket Packages is usually what our service members select. These come in 4, 5, or 6 day packages and can include the park hopper option. The Disney Dining Plan is something you can also add to your vacation package. You can start your planning online or call for assistance by phone if you are more comfortable.

September has great weather in Florida, and it also brings the rain sometimes so make sure you pack ponchos for the family. If you plan on spending the entire day at a park I like to recommend locker rentals to keep an extra set of clothes for kids, and outerwear in case the temperature drops. In my experience September can be tricky with the weather in terms of cool early in the morning, and later in the evening. Some other great things to bring with you are chargers or batteries for your devices as you may be using the My Disney Experience App often.

If you plan on doing some character dining during your stay remember that advanced dining reservations open up 60 days before your stay, and can be booked for the length of your stay up to 10 days out. If you have a little princess she may want to experience a royal transformation with an assistant fairy godmother at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. This is a very popular experience and if you plan on securing a time for her you will want to be on your device at precisely 6 A.M. EST to get these reservations as times disappear quickly.

I hope this information helps you find your magical home away from home for a week. If you have any planning questions leading up to your stay visit us again at planDisney.com.

    See ya real soon,
