    I am currently booking a trip at a WDW hotel and stay on property. I am also at the same time looking at buying an annual pass. I was wondering that if I was to purchase the annual pass now wether I can activate later in the year when the trip is planned.

    First of all, you've made a wonderful choice by choosing accommodations from the Disney Resorts Hotel Collection. You'll be located right in the middle of the magic, and enjoy complimentary Disney Transportation to all the theme parks and Disney Springs! You'll be able to maximize your fun while enjoying excellent Guest Service and all the comforts of home. 

    I'm also excited to hear you'd like to become a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder! I've been a Passholder for many years, and make the most of all the Passholder Perks, discounts, and year-round Passholder Extras. The dining and merchandise discounts alone make being a Passholder worth it for me! 

    If you'd like to go ahead and purchase your Annual Pass now, no worries - your pass will not be activated until your first entry into a Walt Disney World Resort theme park. Pass privileges will become available once your pass is activated. An Annual Pass will expire if not activated within one (1) year from the date of purchase.
