Hi I am applying for my DAS pass soon, my brother is also coming with us, but he has not yet bought his tickets can I add him to my das after I've already applied once he has bought his ticket?

    Hi Anthony!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question!

It looks like your trip is right around the corner, and I'm so excited for you! It won't be long until you're immersed in the magic of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, making memories to last a lifetime.

Disney's Disability Acess Service (DAS) is a wonderful offering at Walt Disney World theme parks, as they go above and beyond to ensure that ALL Guests can experience a welcoming and inclusive environment on their Disney vacations. My family is fairly new to using DAS since my husband became disabled in 2021, and we have chosen Walt Disney World as a vacation destination time and time again because of their commitment to accessibility.

If you'd like to pre-register for DAS, you can do that up to 30 days in advance (and no less than two days before arrival) via live video chat. You'll be asked a few questions to determine DAS eligibility. Once you're approved and pre-registered, you'll be allowed to pre-book up to two DAS Advance selections for each day of your visit. I typically make a list of the attractions and shows we'd like to experience in each park that work with the accommodations my husband requires (he has to remain in his wheelchair). You'll need to know which parks you plan to visit each day to book the advance selections. Once you arrive, you'll have access to the DAS self-selection tool on the My Disney Experience Mobile App to book additional experiences and attractions.

No worries, you'll absolutely be able to add your brother to your DAS pass once he purchases his Theme Park Ticket! If you'd like to add him before your arrival, you can reach out to Disability Services by sending an email to disability.services@disneyparks.com, or you can reach out to them by phone. It's also very easy to add him to your plans once you arrive with a quick visit to Guest Relations. We needed to add a guest to our pass on our last visit, and it only took a short time at Epcot Guest Relations to get him connected to our DAS pass. Make sure the Cast Member checks to see that he is also added to any advance selections you may have made. You'll also want to make sure that you are connected to your brother in the Friends and Family section of My Disney Experience before you arrive.

I hope this helps! Please reach out with any further questions before your vacation!
