What cruises are in November and how many points are they for 2 adults

    Ahoy there, Deborah!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for sailing by with your question!  Deborah, how exciting that you are thinking of using your Disney Vacation Club Membership to book a Disney Cruise Line cruise. Our family has done this many times ourselves, and it is such a wonderful way to maximize your Membership to travel to dazzling places you never knew!

Deborah, the Vacation Points required for a Disney cruise varies depending on which cruise you want to book, the length of the cruise, time of year, and which stateroom you book.  The Vacation Point cost is per person per stateroom per cruise.

What I recommend is visiting the Disney Vacation Club website, and scroll to the "Destinations" tab and select Disney Cruise Line.  From here, you can select "View All Points Charts" and this will show you a list of sailings.  You can select sailings that interest you which will show that range of Vacation Points needed for different sailings and staterooms per person.

Now, once you have selected the sailing you'd like to book, you can call Disney Vacation Club Member Services who will check availability. When you are ready to book, they will change your Vacation Points to Reservation Points to make the booking. Please note that there is a $95 non-refundable booking fee (subject to change) to make the booking.

Here's a tip for you Deborah. If you do not have enough Vacation Points to cover the entire cost of the cruise, you can do a combination of Vacation Points and cash. The one thing to note about this option, though, is that at least one of the Guests must be paid in full using Vacation Points, and the other Guest can be paid for using cash. You just can't split the cost of one Guest with Vacation Points and cash.  We did this on our last cruise to pay for one of my kids, as we did not have enough points to cover our whole family of five. It helps maximize the magic of using your Vacation Points to put toward the cost of a cruise.

I hope this helps you, Deborah! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, surf back here to see me. I'll be flippin' my fins right here and will be so happy to help you plan your trip to the great wide somewhere.

    Bon Voyage,
    Keri
