Hi Hayden,
Welcome home, and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question—it’s always great to chat with friends considering joining
Disney Vacation Club!
Like you, I’m an international Member, though from the UK, and I can assure you there are plenty of Disney Vacation Club Members from Australia. You’ll have no trouble becoming part of the club! If you’d like to explore your options further, I recommend chatting with a Disney Vacation Club Guide through the
online chat feature on the Disney Vacation Club website.
Great news, Hayden: Disney Vacation Club Members eligible for membership extras can use their Vacation Points to book a sailing with Disney Cruise Line, including
sailings from Australia, by converting them into Reservation Points.
Full point charts and booking details are available on the
Disney Vacation Club website, and bookings can be made directly by calling Member Services.
A couple of key points to keep in mind, at least one member of your travel party must be booked entirely with Vacation Points. Other members can be booked with cash or Vacation Points, but not a combination of both. A non-refundable transaction fee of $95 (subject to change) will be charged at the time of booking.
I hope this answers your question, Hayden! If you have more questions about Disney Vacation Club membership or planning a Disney Cruise Line adventure, don't hesitate to reach out. For more cruise-specific tips, my good friends
Dustin and
Sami are experts in all things Disney on the high seas!
Have a magical day,
Matt
