Ahoy and welcome to planDisney, Sheila! Growing up in Florida, with views of the cruise ships at Port Canaveral in sight every day, I know how convenient it is to sail from your home state.
As you've noticed, the
Disney Wonder has some amazing itineraries from San Diego scheduled for March through May 2024 and 2025. In May, this beautiful ship heads to Vancouver for Alaskan cruises through September. These itineraries do not meet your criteria of being warmer, given the destination, but the Alaskan cruises are truly magnificent. After Alaska, the Wonder is charting new waters this year: heading down under for cruises in Australia and New Zealand. Not at all close to home, but these new destinations are exciting as Disney Cruise Line expands its horizons and opens up whole new worlds for fans of the Wonder.
I've not cruised from San Diego in the spring, but I have been on an early March cruise from New Orleans. We enjoyed warm sunshine in the day and cooler temperatures in the evening. I always pack a light cardigan or jacket for the dining rooms on board the ship and found these to be perfect for watching movies on Funnel Vision at night. One night, it was a little colder and the Crew Members put out blankets for us movie watchers. I know desired temperatures and cruise dates are personal and contingent on a lot of factors, but I am offering my experience just as a perspective.
I hope you do consider a Disney Cruise. The itineraries from San Diego look amazing - and they start in San Diego, which is gorgeous, too. If you have any other questions about a Disney Cruise Line adventure, please come back to

Cheers,
