Hello! When in February and March 2024 will there be perfume engraving at Plume et Palette? If we miss it can we leave it to be engraved then shipped?

    Bonjour Megan!

Welcome to planDisney! It is wonderful to have you here. I'm thrilled to hear that you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort so soon. You must be excited about that magical vacation countdown.

The perfume engraving at Plume et Palette is such a wonderful one-of-a-kind souvenir or gift. I checked with a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that the current engraver schedule is still Thursday, Friday & Saturday, but please be aware that the schedule can change. Hours during the day may vary, so it's best to check once you arrive at EPCOT. I was also told that occasionally engraving is available at Il Bel Cristallo in the Italy pavilion. The Cast Member did confirm that you are typically able to leave your bottle to be engraved and sent to your home for an additional fee. Again, policies often change, so you'll want to ask about this option with a Cast Member prior to your purchase.

My panelist pal, Shannon, was able to chat directly with the engraver last month and had a few tips I wanted to share with you in her answer about engraving.

While we are talking about custom souvenirs, I thought that I would share a few of my other favorites with you. In the Germany pavilion, you'll find Glaskunst. Here, you can have a stein engraved or make a one-of-a-kind glass work of art. You can pick and choose your favorite colors and designs and let your artistry shine! When I was there last month, the projects included pendants, trinket dishes, decorative tiles, ornaments and more. I've also noticed a ring carver stand in a couple of places in World Showcase. Last trip, they were located in the Mexico pavilion. There is also the pick-a-pearl experience at the Mitsukoshi Department Store in the Japan pavilion. With this experience, you can choose your very own oyster from the tank. They'll open it in a little ceremony and present you with the unique pearl hiding inside. You'll even have the option to put it in a jewelry setting should you so desire. (For an additional charge.)

I hope that I have not only answered your question, Megan, but also given you a few other ideas to find that special memento. Thank you so much again for stopping by and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
