Hello, Barbara!
Welcome back to planDisney! It’s always a treat to see Guests return with questions—whether it’s your second, third, or even tenth visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth! With your trip on the horizon this spring, I can only imagine how excited you must be. And since you’re staying at either
Disney’s Beach Club Resort or
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, I have to say—you’ve got great taste! These two are tied for my favorite Disney Resort thanks to its elegant coastal theming and relaxed-yet-luxurious ambiance.
I checked in with a Cast Member on your behalf, and I’m happy to report that the outdoor, covered walkway connecting the Beach Club Resort to the Yacht Club Resort is indeed open during the pool refurbishment! Of course, as with anything construction-related, that’s always subject to change, but for now, you’ll still be able to enjoy that convenient (and shaded!) stroll between these two beautiful resorts.
While you’re there, be sure to soak in all the magic these resorts (and the surrounding area) have to offer! I always stop at
Crew’s Cup Lounge for a classic cocktail and
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop to satisfy my sweet tooth. If you need a morning pick-me-up,
Carousel Coffee at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn serves a fantastic Shakerato—a must-try espresso drink! And while I didn’t get to try it,
The Cake Bake Shop has incredible dessert options. That Key Lime Pie will be in my dreams until I return to Walt Disney World in March!
Speaking of March—and your trip in April—have you heard about the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival? This seasonal event is one of my favorites, with beautiful topiaries, delicious Outdoor Kitchens, and even a Garden Rocks Concert Series featuring live music. It’s the perfect way to welcome spring at Walt Disney World!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Barbara! I hope this helps. You will know
where to find me if you have any other questions.
