What are the most cost efficient resorts that would include transportation to the parks?

    Hello again Sarita!

Welcome to planDisney! We love your questions and love to help you plan your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort!

If you are looking for cost-efficient resorts then know that Walt Disney World Resort has options for you. There is a category of Resorts at Walt Disney World Resort called "Value Resort Hotels" where the rooms are one of the most affordable on Walt Disney World property. I have to be honest and say that these resorts are not the cheapest you will find in the area but the cheapest on Disney property. I, however, only stay on-site these days due to the next item in your question. Walt Disney World provides complimentary transportation options between all of their resorts and the parks every single day for all guests! This complimentary transportation includes buses, monorail, water taxis/boats, and Disney Skyliner. I hate driving while on vacation and love having Mickey Mouse arrange my transportation. All of the value resorts are known for their larger-than-life theming, food court-style dining halls, huge themed pools, splash areas for little kids, and motel-style themed buildings. The three "All-Star" Resorts which include Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, and Disney's All-Star Music Resort only have bus transportation as an option. I have stayed at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort twice and my kids loved taking pictures with all of the decorations. Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort share a Disney Skyliner which will connect you to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. To visit Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park you will have to use a bus. Disney's Art of Animation Resort has family suites that can fit up to 6 people with two full bathrooms and a little kitchenette. My family loves Disney's Pop Century Resort which can sleep four people in a standard room. However, my son just informed me his new favorite is Disney's All-Star Movies Resort because he gets to walk into the Resort on a red carpet like a celebrity!  You will find that these Resorts are truly what kids imagine a Walt Disney Resort to look like. My kids prefer these Resorts to the "fancier" ones because they are colorful, kid-friendly, and without any pretense.

Staying on-site is also beneficial as guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort have access to Early Theme Park Entry which lets them enter the Parks 30 minutes before anyone else. In addition, when making dining reservations, guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort can book 60 days ahead and up to 10 days into their trip. This means you have an advantage in securing hard-to-get dining reservations over those staying offsite. There is currently a Special Offer for guests to save up to 35% on rooms when you stay 5 nights or longer that are applicable during the date you intend to arrive! I hope you find a good deal! If you need any more help you can always let me know!

    Happy Planning!
