Ahoy there, Richard! Welcome back to planDisney!
Your Disney cruise is fast approaching, and I’m so excited for you! Like you, I love to stay at a hotel in
Walt Disney World Resort and then take
Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation to Port Canaveral. Waking up in Walt Disney World Resort and then heading on a Disney cruise is like the ultimate double dose of Disney magic in a morning! I would be happy to share the process for booking Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation, as well as the cost.
There is a cost for booking Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation. The cost to book it from your hotel in Walt Disney World Resort to Port Canaveral is $45 per person, per way. Please note that prices and availability are always subject to change. You can book it either by
calling Disney Cruise Line, on the Disney Cruise Line website, or on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. If booking on the website or the app, after opening your reservation, click “Next Steps” and then “Ground Transportation” to add it. If you used a travel agent to book your Disney cruise, you will need to call your travel agent, and they will book your Ground Transportation for you.
Besides being the most magical way to get to your Disney cruise, I also find that taking the Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation is the most efficient way to get there. While never guaranteed, we usually have a
Port Arrival Time that’s earlier in the day when booking Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation, and we’ve been able to start our Disney cruise a bit earlier than we expected, which has always been a nice added magical bonus!
Richard, I hope I was able to offer guidance. I wish you the most beautiful memories on board your cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions!
You’ve Got a Friend in Me,
Rana
