Hiya Albert,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m a little jealous you are living my dream, Albert! I love living in Texas, but I dream of one day owning a vacation condo in Florida so I can visit Walt Disney World Resort a lot more frequently.
Thank you for your excellent question! Eligibility for
Theme Park tickets at the Florida Resident rate depends on having at least one valid form of Florida residency verification. The most commonly used form is a valid Florida Driver’s License or Florida state-issued ID card (or military ID) with a Florida address, but since you don’t reside full-time in Florida, you may not possess one of those. Some additional
acceptable forms that you can present to Cast Members as proof of Florida residency include:
-Proof of Current Mortgage
-Bills, Policies, or Registration
-Certain Pieces of Mail
I believe the bills you mentioned in your question qualify if they have your Florida address listed on them. Your bills must also be dated within the last two months before your visit. Another critical thing to note is that any additional adult (over 18) who also wants to qualify as a Florida resident must have their name on the proof of residency or provide proof that they reside in the same Florida address.
I hope this was helpful, Albert. If you need anything else, please come back and see
us.
Happy Planning!
Ashley F.
