Do children age 12-16 need to show proof of Florida residency for Florida Resident tickets if the parent has appropriate ID?

Hi Clarene. Thanks for your question!

It seems like you already know that residents of the Sunshine State often get special perks and discounts at various times of the year at the Walt Disney World Resort! These savings make it very enticing for Florida residents to come and visit the resort. And especially now that the new rollercoaster TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise at Magic Kingdom Park is open, you can now meet Moana at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and so many new exciting additions are coming to the resort, it's a great time to take advantage of the offers available to you!

Children under the age of 18 do not need to show proof of Florida residency. However, they must be accompanied by an adult who has the proper proof. Please check out the Proof of Florida Residence page to determine the necessary paperwork you would need to bring.

Clarene, be sure to check back frequently for any new and exciting offers that may be made available in the future. And if you're interested in going more often, you can look into an annual pass to the resort, three of which are available exclusively to Florida residents. Just make sure you act fast because they are on sale as of writing this answer, but that could change since they are limited!

If you have any other questions, please make sure to reach out again in the future!

Won't you think of something sunny just for me,
    Matt
