Anchors aweigh, Charity!
Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question. I know you must be so excited about your Disney Cruise Line vacation. Since you have completed your
online check-in, your magical vacation must be getting close!
No worries, Charity. There is a waiting period for all
travel documents to be reviewed to ensure everything is in order. In my experience, if there is an issue with your information, you will receive an email asking for updated information. If your documents are in order, you will also receive an email letting you know you are good to go. In either case, this process is wrapped up in plenty of time for your cruise. You can also check your status in your online account under
My Reservations.
While your documents are pending, you can continue with your online check-in, including completing your
Payment Authorization Form, selecting your port arrival time, and reviewing your Cruise Contract. With those items finished, you are one step closer to sailing away!
Don't forget to bring your boarding documents with you on embarkation day. You will need your Port Arrival Form (either digital or printed) and your government-issued identification. Once all your embarkation check-in is taken care of, you will be ready to board the ship, which is one of my favorite moments! Just before your travel party boards, a Crew Member will ask how you would like to be introduced, and then the Crew Members and other Guests will greet you with a round of applause as you are welcomed on board. It is such a special moment to announce that your Disney Cruise Line vacation is officially underway!
I hope this information sets your mind at ease, Charity. You will be sailing away before you know it, but let us know if you have other questions.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
