Hello! Coming on Sunday! Can we get a virtual queue for Tiana and for Haunted Mansion, or do we have to pick between the two? Thank you!

    Hiya Brooke!

Thanks for dropping in with your question! Whether you want to make a splash in the bayou or visit some happy haunts, you'll need some help from the Disneyland Mobile App. Let's talk logistics!

As you mentioned, both Haunted Mansion Holiday and Tiana's Bayou Adventure are currently using a Virtual Queue. You can only join one attraction virtual queue at a time, so you will have to decide which ride you want to experience first. Once you have enjoyed the first attraction you should be able to join a later queue for the second attraction. There are a couple of things to consider when making your choice:

    • To join either queue at the 7:00 AM opening you have to have a theme park reservation for Disneyland Park (even if you have a Magic Key or a Park Hopper ticket).
    • The queue for Haunted Mansion Holiday opens twice each day (7:00 AM and noon) but Tiana's Bayou Adventure has three chances to join (7:00 AM, noon, and 4:00 PM).
I have the best luck joining virtual queues when I open up a world clock app or webpage and watch the seconds tick down to tap the button right on time. Keep tapping until you're through! If you aren't able to join the first queue you want then check to see if the second one is open. You never know! For later queue openings, I always set my alarm for a minute or two before the opening time so I don't get distracted in the parks and miss my chance to join the queue.

The virtual queue is the only way to visit Jack Skellington and his friends, but there is another way to get to the party in the bayou: Lightning Lane! If you purchase Lightning Lane Multipass you'll find that Tiana's Bayou Adventure is one of the included attractions, and that's what I would recommend doing if you want to have a better chance of "going down the bayou" on Sunday. For a weekend during the holiday season, I think you'd find Lightning Lanes super helpful for reducing your wait times, too! You can use the Lightning Lane entrance once per day for each attraction. You can still join the virtual queue, so maybe you can meet Tiana and her friends twice!

One of my favorite things to read before a park visit is the Disney Eats Foodie Guides, and there is a fabulous guide for all the holiday snacks and treats right now. Take a look so you know what you want to try this weekend!

Have a fantastic time in the parks, Brooke!

    Keep moving forward!
