Hiya Lisa!
I'm so sorry you had a less-than-magical experience this morning. I know how frustrating that can be! But no worries, I can help you prepare for your next chance to join the Virtual Queue.
There are multiple opportunities to join a
Virtual Queue during the day, and each queue has specific requirements. At the moment, both
Haunted Mansion Holiday and
Tiana's Bayou Adventure are using Virtual Queue in Disneyland Park. Guests have to join these queues one at a time, so you will have to decide which you want to try to join first. You can join queues at the following times:
- At 7:00 AM the queues for Haunted Mansion Holiday and Tiana's Bayou Adventure open for the first time. You can join these queues from anywhere, as long as you have a theme park reservation for Disneyland Park. Even if you have a Magic Key or a ticket that allows Park Hopping, your reservation for the day has to be for Disneyland Park or you won't be able to join the queue at 7:00 AM.
- At noon the queues for both attractions open again. So if you're in the parks today you'll have another chance! To join the queue at this time must have already entered Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park if you have a Magic Key or Park Hopper ticket.
- At 4:00 PM you have one last chance to splash into the bayou with Tiana. This queue uses the same rules as the one at noon.
I would guess that you may have had a theme park reservation for Disney California Adventure Park today, which is why you couldn't join the 7:00 AM queue. But you'll have more chances in the park today and I'm sending lots of pixie dust for you to have good luck!
I'm so excited that
Bayou Country is now open for visitors! You'll find two new shops in addition to old favorites like Pooh Corner. Plus there's a whole new menu at the
Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree! The Loaded Fries look delicious and I can't wait to try the Strawberry Shortcake Lemonade. The Disney Parks Blog has a great
Foodie Guide so you can check out all the options up close!
Hope you're having an amazing day in the parks, Lisa!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
