I’m considering a trip with a teenagers to Disneyland January 24-28, 2025 specifically to see the Star Wars attractions. Is there a way to determine whether any Star Wars rides or attractions will be closed during this period?

Hello there, Hayden. Welcome to planDisney and thank you for this question. A trip to the Disneyland Resort that anchors on journeying to the planet of Batuu sounds like one that I definitely want to be a part of. I love this plan and I'm here to help.

For me, no trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is complete without a visit to the planet of Batuu. While I wish I was a Jedi Master who could use the Force to see this information, I'll just have to make do with other means. You can find a list of attractions that are closed for refurbishment in the Hours & Events Calendar on the Disneyland site. Select the date of your visit and under Disneyland Park, click the link "Closed for Refurbishment" to see which attractions are temporarily closed. The tricky part is that this calendar is typically only filled out for dates a little over a month from now which means we're not sure about your visit date quite yet.

I recommend coming back in a month or so to check again. Things can always change even on the day of your visit, so I also recommend checking for the list of attractions closed for refurbishment in the Disneyland app. Even if some of the attractions are down, there's plenty to explore at the Black Spire Outpost. I recommend making a dining reservation for Oga's Cantina. It's a great place to rest your weary feet and hydrate with a beverage or two. There are plenty of options with adult beverages and family-friendly choices too. And DJ R-3X knows how to keep the party going with some beats from out-of-this-world.

Well, Hayden, while I wish I had a better answer for you, I hope the information I shared is still helpful. Please come back to visit us with any other questions you might be curious about. Safe travels and may the Force be with you.
