We are coming end of July for my son's Make a Wish trip and we've had a caricature drawn for every trip usually at the Art Corner. This time we don't have time to go to Disney Springs so is there somewhere in the park we can get them done?

    Howdy Judy!

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. First of all, I hope your son is doing well. As a parent of a Make-A-Wish Kid, I certainly understand what it’s like to have a child with a life-threatening illness. My daughter's wish was to go to Walt Disney World, and she had the most amazing time. The magic of the Disney Parks and Resorts is why it’s the most granted destination wish.

I love your tradition of getting a caricature drawing done each time you visit the parks. It’s such a great way to commemorate your visits through the years. In my experience, you can find a caricature artist at each park. I’ve found them at the Magic Kingdom on Main Street USA and sometimes in Liberty Square near the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. At EPCOT, you can sometimes find mobile carts throughout the World Showcase and around the France Pavilion. I’ve also seen them on Sunset Boulevard at Hollywood Studios near Sunshine Day Bar. Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can usually find them in Discovery Island near some of the merchandise shops. I would recommend that you find a cast member upon entering the park; they should be able to direct you to where they are available.

You should receive a Disney Wish Pass as part of your packet. This lanyard will be your magical key to the kingdom. You will show it to access the Lightning Lane queue for all rides and experiences you choose. We found that cast members are trained to identify this pass and help make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Many times, they also took us to the front of the line during character meet-and-greets. You never know when they may sprinkle you with a little pixie dust as well.

Judy, I hope your family has an absolutely magical time during your son's Wish Trip. I hope that during this time, you all can put aside any worries and experience the joy and magic of Disney as a family. May all of her wishes come true. Please stop back by if there is anything else I can do for you here at planDisney.

    Wishfully yours,
    Robert
