We are coming to Disneyland May 21 & 22nd for my daughter's birthday. I've been trying to make reservations for her birthday dinner and cannot find any available reservations. Can this be possible? Can you help me?

    Hello there, Delaney!

It’s so wonderful to see that you’re planning to visit the very special birthday celebration for your little princess. I’m feeling as curious as the Cheshire Cat to know where you’re hoping to dine. There are so many character dining options available at The Happiest Place On Earth, each fit for a queen! My personal favorite is the Storytellers Café, located in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It's a place where you can indulge in a hearty dinner or a delightful brunch. As for me, I always enjoy the eggs benedict station, while my Prince Charming can't resist the chilaquiles. And of course, our little prince loves the Mickey waffles!

Now let's talk about reservations! Online dining reservations open 60 days in advance at 6am Eastern time. And Delaney, I must tell you, reservations during the most popular months tend to fill up faster than the White Rabbit can yell “I’m late! I’m late!”.

However, as I write this, I can see that there are still tables available for dinner on Sunday, May 21st for a party of four when I browse here. In fact, there are nine locations to choose from, including my beloved Storytellers Café! Another character dining option available that evening is Goofy’s Kitchen, which feels so special to me since it’s where I celebrated my first Mother’s Day with my little Mousketeer last year. The Carnation Cafe is also available, my favorite spot to enjoy a classic bowl of baked potato soup, and the place where Walt Disney himself would enjoy his favorite chili recipe which is still available at that restaurant today!

I’ll share another secret with you, Delaney: My pal and fellow panelist Amanda D is an absolute expert for nabbing the best dining reservations. Her winning strategies are sure to help you!

Well Delaney, I’m wishing you the most marvelous celebration and a truly unforgettable time at The Happiest Place on Earth! I hope these tips help you make all your princess’ dreams come true. I'm as committed as the Mad Hatter to make your celebration at The Happiest Place On Earth as magical as it can be! Please feel free to message me back if you have any further questions.

A Very Merry Unbirthday to You!
