Hi Michelle! Thanks for bouncing on over to planDisney! To paraphrase my friend Tigger, “Answering Disney vacation planning questions is what planDisney panelists do best!”
The answer to your question depends upon when you plan to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. If you plan on visiting the Disney Parks now through January 8, 2024, then you will need to make a theme park reservation for the parks you are visiting. In your case, you’ll need to make theme park reservations for both
EPCOT and
Disney’s Animal Kingdom. However, if you plan to visit from January 9, 2024 forward, you will not have to make theme park reservations as long as you have date-based tickets (which is what most Guests have). The ticket types that will still require theme park reservations after January 9, 2024, are student-group tickets, sports competition tickets, convention tickets, and Guests with annual passes. If you have any of those ticket types be sure to make your theme park reservations.
The
Theme Park Reservations link that I am including here will help to clarify any lingering questions that you might have regarding making theme park reservations! I hope this information is helpful! Come on back to planDisney as you continue dreaming of your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Happy Planning!
